grandson won't go into our bedroom alone in the evenings anymore

he's 4. says there's something behind the cupboard. at his parents' place he's fine, his mother says. our flat is older and the corridor light is weak, maybe that's it. do i just change the bulb or is this a phase at this age. not making a fuss in front of him so far
