Daycare drop-off has turned into tears after ten days at home

My daughter is 1 and has been at the same daycare since she was eight months old. Drop-off had been easy for weeks. We took ten days off around a family visit, and since she went back she cries hard at the door every morning, even though it's the same room and the same caregivers. The staff say she settles within a few minutes. What I can't decide is whether to stay longer at drop-off for a few days or keep it short and leave quickly like before. My early calls make the long version difficult, but I'll do it if it helps. How did others work this out with their daycare staff after a break?
