I noted Arunodaya Montessori School while exploring options, then realised I was comparing dates from different academic years. Rather than fill the gaps with guesses, I'd like to ask where the current calendar and admissions schedule are published. Would that be an appropriate first enquiry?
Absolutely. A calendar for the intended year is the relevant document.
That is precisely the mistake my spreadsheet was making.
Don't infer a closure or opening date from another institution's calendar.
We need to stop comparing the wrong years even when the dates look similar.
I would keep any calendar note beside the year and source; unlabeled dates are easy to confuse.
