The fruit disappears during homework but not at lunch

basil_compass_8200

When fruit is on the dining table during homework, it gets eaten without discussion. Packed in the lunchbox, it often returns untouched. I don't want to make sweeping conclusions from that. Is it reasonable to pay attention to the setting rather than only the food?

Food returning from lunch doesn't reveal why. The routine, time available and the child's own explanation may matter more than a recipe swap.

Ask the child what happens to the food during lunch, without making it an accusation.

Different parts of the day feel different; I'd observe before changing everything.

We need information about the lunch setting before changing the shopping list.
