Choosing a stream after Class 10 when the child is genuinely undecided — looking for recent parent experiences

Relatives keep asking science or commerce as if the answer should be obvious. Our child does reasonably well across subjects but has no strong career preference yet. How did you explore streams without making the decision based only on marks?

    Try to keep stream discussions about subjects and daily work, not prestige. 'Would you enjoy doing this kind of work every week?' was a better question for us. We revisited the arrangement after the next round of tests. We are in Bengaluru, so local logistics may be a little different.
