A baby-care checklist that someone will actually read

mint_drum_1454

A relative is helping for a short stretch, and the instructions I started writing are already too long. I don't want to hand someone a manual instead of a useful note. How do you separate essential care information from the details that can be explained in person?

Put feeding, comfort and important contact details up front; other preferences can follow.

I may find half of my checklist is just anxiety in bullet form.

Read the note aloud together once to see which parts are unclear.
